The BlackBerry Torch 9800is a 2010 model. It offers aQWERTYkeyboard with a sliding multi-touch screen display and runs on BlackBerry OS 6. This looks same as the existing BlackBerry devices, but the sliding keyboard features a bigger 3.2 inch 480x360 screens (the same resolution as the BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Storm 2) and the new features allow this BlackBerry Torch 9800 to seem as unique. The software is seen by most to be an improvement over the previous version. Therefore the updated version includes a faster processor, and more memory, with new BlackBerry OS.

Wow in an AFP report, Apple said that pre-order of iphone 4's new model topped one million units in the first 24 hours. According to a company statement, the iPhone 4's, said to be much faster than the predecessors and with improved video and photo capabilities, set new sales record for an apple product.
"The first day pre-orders for iPhone have been the most for any new product that Apple has ever launched", said Philip Schiller, Apple senior vice president, in the statement.
The smartphone, with price range of between 199 an 399 US dollars (depending on memory capacity),  was made available at all Aple stores in United States.
